The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even arranging transportation to the local tavern for our meals. Isabel, our host, was a highlight of our trip with her efforts to retrieve a misplaced phone. The rooms were clean and well-furnished, and the gardens and pool were lovely additions. the friendliness and generosity of the rural people of Northern Portugal made our stay memorable.

They even helped us dry our wet clothes and shoes and arranged transportation to and from the village for dinner. the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the location was peaceful and beautiful. We especially appreciated the warm welcome with bottles of port to enjoy after our evening meals. the breakfast provided was also delicious.

Friendly staff, nice rooms, beautiful building with gardens, swimming pool and church. Owners drove us to a restaurant and treated us to port wine. Enjoyed stay and would return.
